The Ministry of Manpower released its yearly report on the Labour Market in 2019 on 30 January 2020. The report is based on the Comprehensive Labour Force Survey and analyses the employment, unemployment, incomes, and working hours of Singapore’s labour force.
On 23 January 2020, the Ministry of Manpower released a Report: Singapore Citizens in the Labour Force, an occasional paper which analyses the performance of Singapore citizens in the labour force and changes over time. In this case, the report drew from the Comprehensive Labour Force Survey to remark on changes in the Singapore labour situation from 2009 to 2019
On 12 December 2019, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) released some key indicators of the labour market situation for Q3. These reflected a mixed situation. Positively, employment and re-entry rates increased, and retrenchments stayed low. However, unemployment and long-term unemployment rates also increased at the same time.
